Job summary

Airborne Environmental Consultants Ltd are seeking a highly organised Stores, Equipment & Procurement Coordinator to own the company’s equipment, consumables and purchasing for asbestos and water hygiene operations. You will manage stock, calibration schedules and records, while coordinating with sites, suppliers and internal teams.

The role combines stores, procurement and administration with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and efficient equipment readiness across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, inventory, or equipment management.
• Exposure to purchasing and supplier liaison processes.
• Knowledge of calibration, servicing and maintenance scheduling.
• Familiarity with UKAS requirements or similar quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day storage, issue, return and movement of equipment, PPE, stock and consumables.
• Maintain equipment and stock registers including location and servicing records.
• Prepare equipment kits for site teams and maintain spare supplies.
• Coordinate servicing, calibration and supplier work orders.
• Identify damaged or obsolete equipment and coordinate replacement or disposal.
• Raise purchase orders, obtain quotations and monitor deliveries.
