Cameo Consultancy (Recruitment) Limited in Brackley is seeking an experienced Goods Stores Operative to join a busy, hands-on team. You will manage stores, dispatch and yard duties, taking day-to-day ownership of goods movements and stock control.

The role involves forklift loading/unloading, packing, courier coordination and maintaining a safe, tidy working environment with opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• Previous stores, warehouse, goods-in/out or yard experience.
• Forklift Truck experience (Counterbalance preferred - expired licences considered).
• Comfortable with manual handling and hands-on work.
• Basic IT confidence and ability to learn internal systems.
• Reliable with a good work ethic.
• Able to work well within a team and use initiative.
• Good attention to detail and organisation.
• Experience using warehouse or stock systems would be helpful, though full training will be given.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch.
• Booking and coordinating courier collections.
• Measuring, weighing and labelling goods.
• Preparing and checking dispatch paperwork.
• Liaising with production to ensure goods are ready for collection.

• General housekeeping and maintaining a tidy, safe working environment.
• Supporting the production and dispatch teams as needed.

Job description

A busy, long-established and growing business in Brackley is looking for an experienced, hands-on Goods Stores Operative to join the team.

This is a varied role working across stores, dispatch and the yard, supporting the smooth running of a fast-paced production environment and taking ownership of the day-to-day organisation of goods coming in and out of the business.

You'll be involved in loading and unloading vehicles, preparing goods for dispatch, coordinating courier collections, stock organisation, palletising goods and keeping the stores and yard areas running efficiently and safely.

The role would suit someone practical, organized and proactive who enjoys being busy, can prioritise their own workload and takes pride in doing a job properly.

What we're looking for:

Salary: up to £32,000 DOE

Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
