Job summary

OEG, a leading energy solutions business, is seeking a Stores and Logistics Coordinator to join the Topside Division in Driffield. You will manage stores, logistics, calibration records, and reporting to support offshore project mobilisations.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will develop tooling lists, raise purchase orders, manage calibration with Motion Kinetic, and ensure QA/HSE procedures are followed while travelling to client sites as required.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and reporting tools.
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication across teams.
  • Good understanding of equipment calibration processes and certification requirements.
  • Working knowledge of COSHH regulations and requirements.
  • Experience in stores, inventory or equipment management.
  • High attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
  • Will travel to client sites for mobilisation/demobilisation as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project tooling and equipment lists.
  • Coordinate allocation and distribution of IT equipment to project teams.
  • Raise and process purchase orders; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support purchasing activities: sourcing equipment, materials and project needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date project tooling and equipment records/files.
  • Create and manage calibration filing/tracking using Motion Kinetic.
  • Ensure tooling, equipment and calibration certificates are filed and accessible.
  • Liaise with internal teams and suppliers to manage documentation and purchasing.
  • Conduct annual documentation reviews for accuracy and compliance.
  • Contribute to continual improvement of QA/QS processes and standards.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for role responsibilities where required.
  • Carry out LOLER and PUWER inspections; ensure compliance.
  • Perform pre- and post-project equipment inspections and document deficiencies.
  • Analyse inspection findings for root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Conduct monthly audits of stores, equipment and records; prepare reports.

Job description

Through our specialist divisions - topside, marine, subsea, cables, logistics and industrials, we are a pivotal link in the global offshore energy project chain, ensuring our customers’ projects are delivered safely, reliably and efficiently. We are currently seeking a Stores and Logistics Coordinator to join our Topside Division.

Location
  • Driffield, East Riding of Yorkshire, United Kingdom
Core Purpose
  • Responsible for stores and logistics coordination, servicing all departments of OEG.
  • Reporting to the Operations Director, taking a leading role in planning, mobilising, execution, and demobilising of tooling and equipment for OEG offshore work scopes.
  • Maintaining calibration and certification records of tooling and equipment, such as lifting equipment.
  • Updating company records on Motion Kinetic (training given).
  • Aid in the design and implementation of quality control systems, such as Motion Kinetic Software, to monitor and track company assets deployed on projects.
  • Assist in the implementation of department and project Quality/HSE policies.
  • Produce weekly/monthly reports using tools such as Microsoft Office.
  • Aid in the production of departmental procedures and documentation in line with the company document control system.
  • Requirement to travel to client port/site locations for mobilisation and demobilisation of offshore projects, working remotely.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Administration:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project tooling and equipment lists.
  • Coordinate the allocation and distribution of company IT equipment to project teams.
  • Raise and process purchase orders for suppliers, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Support general purchasing activities, including sourcing equipment, materials and other project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project tooling and equipment records and files.
  • Create and manage an effective calibration filing and tracking system using Motion Kinetic.
  • Ensure all tooling, equipment and calibration certification is accurately recorded, filed and readily accessible to relevant personnel in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with internal teams and suppliers to ensure documentation, equipment and purchasing requirements are effectively managed.
Quality Control:
  • Conduct annual reviews of relevant documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance and alignment with current requirements.
  • Take an active role in the continual improvement of OEG’s Quality Management System, processes and standards.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relating to the responsibilities and activities of the role, where required.
  • Carry out LOLER and PUWER inspections on company equipment, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Complete pre- and post-project equipment inspections, identifying and documenting any deficiencies, defects or damage.
  • Analyse inspection findings and available data to support root cause analysis and identify opportunities for corrective and preventative action, where applicable.
  • Conduct monthly audits of stores locations, equipment and associated records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare clear and accurate monthly reports for internal review, highlighting findings, trends and areas requiring attention.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with the latest OEG Renewables procedures, policies and standards.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Full UK clean driving licence.
  • LEEA Foundation qualification, with a willingness to work towards the LEEA General qualification; full training and support will be provided.
  • PFPE inspection qualification or relevant inspection training is desirable.
