Job summary

Complete Talent Services Ltd is recruiting a Stores & Logistics Coordinator for our client in Dyce, Aberdeen, on a permanent basis. The role involves supporting day-to-day materials, stock and logistics across Operations, Engineering and Workshop teams to meet project needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in stores, warehouse, materials or logistics, with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or within a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Stores, Warehouse, Materials or Logistics environment is advantageous.
• Experience with ERP systems (MS Dynamics/ Business 365/ Navision) is advantageous.
• UK Driving Licence and Forklift Truck Licence are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify material and equipment requirements with Operations, Engineering and Workshop teams.
• Load Bills of Materials onto ERP and generate purchase requisitions.
• Raise purchase orders for project and workshop materials and equipment.
• Obtain and negotiate supplier quotations.
• Monitor and expedite orders through to delivery.
• Receive, inspect and issue materials and update stock records.
• Maintain inventory and stock location records.
• Prepare and issue project material kits per kitting lists.
• Ensure proper storage of perishable items and COSHH materials.

Job description

We are currently looking to recruit a Stores & Logistics Coordinator to join our client based in Dyce, Aberdeen on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established business operating within the subsea and engineering sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of materials, equipment, stock and logistics, working closely with the Operations, Engineering and Workshop teams to ensure project requirements are met.

Previous experience working within a Stores, Warehouse, Materials or Logistics environment is advantageous, ideally within the Oil & Gas, Subsea or Engineering sector. Candidates must have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team.

Experience working with ERP Systems is a must – Experience with MS Dynamics/ Business 365/ Navision is advantageous

Candidates will also ideally hold an in date Counterbalance FLT license.

Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–4:30pm Friday: 8:00am–12:30pm

Responsibilities

• Working with Operations, Engineering and Workshop teams to identify material and equipment requirements
• Loading Bills of Materials onto the ERP system and generating purchase requisitions
• Raising purchase orders for project and workshop materials and equipment
• Obtaining and negotiating competitive supplier quotations
• Monitoring and expediting orders through to delivery
• Receiving, inspecting and issuing materials and updating stock and asset records
• Maintaining accurate inventory and stock location records
• Preparing and issuing project material kits in line with kitting lists
• Maintaining goods-in and goods-out records
• Packing and unpacking materials for offshore shipments
• Managing shipping documentation including Certificates of Conformity and delivery notes
• Managing the on-hire and off-hire of rental equipment
• Completing stores and materials administration using the company ERP system
• Replenishing spare parts and ensuring appropriate storage of perishable items
• Handling and storing COSHH materials in accordance with company procedures
• Preparing materials for export and completing the required documentation
• Liaising with freight forwarders and transport companies
• Supporting asset management and procurement planning
• Maintaining accurate client-specific equipment and warehouse records
• Preparing stock movement reports where required

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a Stores, Warehouse, Materials, Logistics or Procurement environment is advantageous
• Experience within the Oil & Gas, Subsea or Engineering sector would be beneficial
• Experience with Import/Export and shipping processes
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Excel and Word
• UK Driving Licence
• Forklift Truck Licence
