Job summary

The Co-op is seeking a Customer Team Leader for a busy Bradwell store. You’ll run the day-to-day operations on your shift, lead a small team, and help deliver essential community services, including potential post office, bakery, or online services support.

You’ll motivate colleagues, handle tills, stock, and merchandising, and drive membership growth and local community engagement. The role offers flexible shifts, part-time hours, and comprehensive training, with benefits such as a staff

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small team with coaching responsibilities.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and weekends.
• Background in retail, merchandising, or team management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift.
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, and in our in-store bakery, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members.
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
• Champion Co-op through community engagement and membership growth.
