Job summary

Hobbycraft Salisbury is seeking an experienced Team Leader to assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store. The role requires leading by example, delivering excellent customer service, and driving incremental sales within a 12.5-hour week framework.

You will be a keyholder and help manage stock, scheduling, and customer experience while upholding brand values. The position offers a range of employee benefits and a supportive team environment in Salisbury.

Qualifications

• A proven track record in retail or similar environments is expected.
• Duty Management experience is advantageous.
• Passionate about sales and driving profit.
• Keyholding and cash handling/security awareness are important.
• Coaching colleagues and merchandising experience are valued.
• Health and safety compliance and knowledge of KPIs are essential.
• Effective time management and the ability to inspire your team.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to drive outstanding customer service and commercial awareness.
• Act as Brand ambassador for Hobbycraft and adapt to change positively.
• Plan and prepare the store for each trading day and ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate deliveries and Click and Collect processes, maintaining security and data compliance.
• Support the Store Manager with day-to-day management, including opening/closing and attendance of alarm calls.
• Assist in recruitment, induction, and training of new colleagues; provide coaching.
