Job summary

Co-op Group is seeking a Customer Team Leader in Hindhead to run daily store operations with a small team. You will lead shifts, coach staff, and ensure smooth tills, merchandising, and stock control while delivering excellent service to customers.

You'll play a key role in promoting Co-op membership and community initiatives, with varied shifts including early mornings, afternoons and some weekend work, plus regular overtime for a permanent part-time contract.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 18+ to authorise age-related sales.
• Experience in retail or management is not essential but helpful.
• Able to lead a team, work flexibly, and deliver great service.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift.
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills to support daily operations and speed of service.
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
• Champion Co-op membership and community engagement.
