Job summary

Vision Express is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Doncaster to lead a team, coach colleagues and drive store performance. You will work closely with the Store Manager to deliver exceptional customer experiences and maintain high standards of service and operations.

The role requires previous retail leadership, strong people skills, and the ability to motivate teams to achieve results. A supportive, customer-focused environment and clear progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team and delivering strong customer service.
• Ability to coach and develop colleagues and drive performance.
• A good understanding of KPIs and how to improve store results.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching and developing colleagues.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, coaching sessions and on-the-job training.
• Drive sales performance through KPI management and customer service standards.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and colleague engagement activities.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and service standards.
• Maintain operating excellence and compliance across the store.
• Lead the shop floor and act in the Store Manager's absence.
