Vision Express is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our busy store and help deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will work closely with the Store Manager to lead the team, drive sales and maintain high service standards.

In this role you will coach and develop colleagues, conduct regular 1:1s and training, manage KPIs, support recruitment and onboarding, and ensure operational excellence. This position sits within the EssilorLuxottica family with clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as supervisor, team leader, deputy manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Strong people leadership and coaching skills.
• Experience developing and motivating teams to achieve results.
• Good understanding of performance management processes.
• Commercial awareness and confidence using KPIs to improve performance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to support the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching and developing colleagues
• Conduct regular 1:1s, coaching sessions and on-the-job training
• Drive sales performance through effective KPI management
• Support recruitment, onboarding and colleague engagement activities
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and service standards
• Maintain operational excellence and compliance across the store
• Lead the shop floor and take responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's absence
