Vision Express is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our Barnsley store and work closely with the Store Manager to lead the team, drive commercial performance and deliver outstanding customer experiences. You'll develop colleagues, coach on-the-job, manage KPIs and ensure operational standards while stepping in for the Store Manager when needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching and developing colleagues
• Conduct regular 1:1s, coaching sessions and on-the-job training
• Drive sales performance through KPI management
• Support recruitment, onboarding and colleague engagement
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and service standards
• Maintain operational excellence and compliance across the store
• Lead the shop floor and act in the Store Manager's absence
