Job summary

ThruDark Limited is seeking a Store Supervisor for our new Sentinel House store to lead daily operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will guide the team, ensure brand standards, and support merchandising with a focus on performance targets.

You will manage opening/closing duties, cash handling, stock control, and health and safety, while collaborating with the Store Manager to drive commercial decisions and a welcoming customer experience.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory or senior sales experience in premium or performance retail.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive attitude.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Confidence using POS systems and basic MS Office.

About The Role

ThruDark is recruiting for a Store Supervisor to support the launch and operation of our new store at Sentinel House.

This is a customer-facing role suited to a confident, driven individual with strong interpersonal and leadership skills. As Store Supervisor, you will play a key role in the daily running of the store - leading by example on the shop floor, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining operational standards, and supporting your team to deliver a best-in-class retail experience.

Please note that weekend availability is essential for this role. Weekend shifts will be shared fairly across the team, with a rotation allowing for regular weekends off.

• Proven experience in a supervisory or senior sales role within premium or performance retail
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
• Commercial awareness and a proactive attitude
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Confidence using POS systems and basic MS Office

Desirable But Not Essential

• Experience working with premium or technical apparel (outdoor, tactical, performance, or lifestyle brands)
• Experience handling VIP or high-value customers
• Personal interest in outdoor pursuits, fitness, adventure
