Job summary

Vivienne Westwood is seeking a Store Supervisor for our flagship store in London. This full-time, permanent role focuses on delivering an outstanding luxury shopping experience while driving sales and upholding our brand standards.

You will lead a small team, coach colleagues to enhance service levels, manage stock and cash procedures, and act as Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the Store Manager. Prior premium retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail environment, ideally premium or luxury.
• Strong communication skills and ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience motivating or working collaboratively within a team.

Vivienne Westwood is currently seeking an Store Supervisor to join our team at our Flagship store location. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience, consistently exceeding customer expectations.
• Maximise all sales opportunities to achieve individual and store sales targets and KPI objectives.
• Provide expert advice on Vivienne Westwood products, including pricing, features, benefits, availability and styling.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures relating to stock security, cash handling, customer records and loss prevention.
• Maintain the highest standards of visual merchandising, presentation and housekeeping across the store.
• Ensure customer orders, alterations and special requests are processed accurately, efficiently and within agreed timelines.
• Proactively capture customer data in line with GDPR requirements to support clienteling activities, customer retention and repeat business.
• Attend and actively participate in all training sessions, store meetings and company events as required.
• Maintain professional and effective communication with customers, colleagues and management at all times.
• Adhere to company standards regarding appearance, conduct and behaviour as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Support the upkeep of store standards, ensuring a luxury retail environment is maintained at all times.
• Assist with the planning and execution of stocktakes and inventory management activities.
• Support daily cash reconciliation and end-of-day cashing-up procedures.
• Assist with the onboarding, training and development of new team members.
• Coach and support colleagues to enhance sales performance, customer service standards and KPI achievement.
• Monitor individual and team sales performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and providing ongoing feedback and guidance.
• Support the Store Management team in the day-to-day operation of the store, ensuring business objectives, service standards and operational requirements are consistently achieved.
• Act as Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager, taking responsibility for the smooth running of the store, team supervision, customer service standards and operational decision-making.
• Act as a role model for company values, promoting a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Store Management team.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Previous experience in a retail environment, ideally within a premium or luxury setting
• Experience supporting, motivating, or working collaboratively within a team
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver an excellent customer experience
• A proactive and adaptable approach, with a focus on driving results
