Job summary

River Island in Colchester is seeking a Product Manager to lead a store team, optimise product placement and enhance the customer journey. You will drive visual execution, manage service and operations, and support the Store Leader to achieve sales and KPI targets in a fast-paced retail environment.

This 18-month FTC role emphasises teamwork, data-driven decisions, and a strong commercial mindset to deliver an inspirational shopping experience and high-performing store performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver great product placement and 'wow' wearable outfits.
• Maintain strong visual standards and a customer-focused journey.
• Duty manage across service, people and operations in-store.
• Empower the team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Use commercial tools to drive actions for store performance.
• Support Store Leader to hit KPIs including sales, stock loss, payroll and conversions.
• Assist store operations with health & safety compliance.
• Help develop a high performing, motivated store team.
