Job summary

Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd is seeking an Argos Shift Manager in St Helens to lead shift operations, coach teams and support the Store Manager in delivering excellent customer service. You will manage warehousing, deliveries and store tasks, while focusing on sales and profitability through strong product knowledge and guidance to colleagues.

You will drive KPI achievement, motivate staff, ensure safety and compliance, and act as a key Operations lead when the Store Manager is unavailable.

• Experience organising, running and planning fast-paced operations.
• Ability to direct a team and coach for on-the-job support.
• Support the Store Manager in safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage shifts within Argos stores and lead store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.

• Organise warehouse activities, deliveries and customer service to meet daily goals.
• Drive sales and profitability through product knowledge and proactive support.
• Ensure store safety and compliance with company policies and standards.
