Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse in the UK is seeking a hands-on Store Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team, maintaining excellent customer service and strong operational performance.

You will oversee shopfloor, yard, checkouts and Goods-In, manage stock lifecycle, pricing, planograms and promotions, and drive sales while safeguarding safety and compliance. 37.5 hours per week with a focus on customer excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing retail teams to deliver great service and strong performance.
• Ability to manage stock lifecycle from receipt to replenishment and sale.
• Strong understanding of merchandising, pricing, planograms and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the store team to deliver outstanding customer service and operations.
• Oversee day-to-day shopfloor, yard, checkouts and Goods-In areas.
• Manage stock lifecycle from receipt to replenishment and sale.
• Maintain stock availability and integrity, minimise losses and handle damaged/discontinued stock.
• Keep high shopfloor standards, pricing accuracy and promotional changes.
• Drive sales and profitability through stock control and service standards.
• Coach colleagues to build capability and ownership of standards.
• Support branch management and act as senior leader on duty.
• Ensure safe, compliant, well-stocked and welcoming environment.
