Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse in the United Kingdom is hiring a Store Team Leader to guide a busy shopfront and yard, delivering excellent customer service while upholding strong operational performance. You’ll oversee stock lifecycle, pricing, replenishment, and promotions, coach colleagues to reach high standards, and support the branch management team as the senior on duty.

The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team to deliver excellent customer service and strong operational performance.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the shopfloor, external yard, checkouts and Goods-In areas.
• Manage the full stock lifecycle, from accurate receipt through to replenishment, merchandising and sale.
• Maintain excellent stock availability and integrity, reducing losses and effectively managing damaged, discontinued and out-of-date stock.
• Ensure high shopfloor standards, including replenishment, accurate pricing, planogram compliance and promotional changes.
• Drive sales and profitability through strong operational standards, stock control and effective team performance.
• Coach and support colleagues to build capability, take ownership and deliver consistently high standards.
• Support the wider branch management team and take responsibility for branch operations when acting as the most senior leader on duty.
• Ensure the branch remains safe, compliant, well-stocked and welcoming for our customers.
• The working hours for this role are 37.5 per week.
