Asda is seeking a General Store Manager in Kingshill to lead day-to-day operations across departments, optimise stock, reduce waste and shrink, and ensure compliant, efficient store performance. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and department leads to uphold high standards and a customer-focused shopping experience.

The role requires strong leadership, a data-driven mindset, and a passion for developing teams while driving the store’s selling agenda with heart and pace.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large teams in a busy retail environment.
• Strong track record of improving availability, reducing waste and managing shrink.
• Proven ability to coach managers and develop talent on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning strategy and day-to-day operations across key departments (Non-Food, Online, Customer).
• Ensure availability, minimise waste and shrink, and keep the store compliant and efficient.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager and department managers to deliver consistent standards.
• Drive productivity and maintain high standards for customer service on the shop floor.
