Job summary

Alexander Faraday Recruitment is seeking a New Store Opening Training Manager for the UK region. This hands-on, field-based role leads and trains teams, supports franchisees and ensures new sites open to brand, food safety and customer service standards.

You will own the opening process from pre-opening training through launch, with ongoing support before handing to Operations. Travel will be extensive and early starts may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or training roles.
• Experience opening new stores or sites is preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to train diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate new store opening activity from training through to launch.
• Deliver individual and group training to franchisees, managers and frontline teams.
• Train teams across operational procedures, health & safety, food safety, coffee, food preparation, customer service, cleaning, equipment and retail systems.
• Ensure products and service are delivered consistently to company and brand standards.
• Support franchisees with recruitment, preparation and operational setup.
• Check opening deliveries, stock and equipment and resolve issues before opening.
• Act as the company's key representative on site, confidently managing problems and making decisions without constant supervision.
• Build effective relationships with franchisees, store managers, suppliers, Operations and Head Office.
• Provide hands-on support during and after store openings before handing the site over to Operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and training.
