Job summary

Cameron Clarke Associates t/a talent-finder is assisting a bustling coffee shop in Nelson to recruit an experienced Store Manager to lead a team of eight, drive sales and ensure excellent service. The role is 45 hours per week, with varied shifts and weekend work.

As part of the management team you will recruit, train and manage performance, monitor KPIs such as sales, wait times and reviews, and maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness and food safety.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience within coffee or food service.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Flexible approach to working hours and rotas.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for day-to-day running of the coffee shop.
• Lead, motivate and manage a team of eight.
• Recruit, train and manage performance of staff.
• Work with Assistant Manager and Head Barista on operations.
• Drive sales and profitability and monitor KPIs.
• Ensure high standards of quality, cleanliness and food safety.
