Hobbycraft is seeking a Store Manager in Farnborough to lead store operations and high-performing teams, delivering a customer-focused experience that drives repeat visits and sales. You will recruit, train and develop staff, manage stock, budgets, and compliance, and act as the brand ambassador on a daily basis.

You will be responsible for opening/closing the store, scheduling, and ensuring high audit standards, while maintaining excellent customer service and a positive working environment.

Qualifications

• A proven track record of management experience in a retail or similar environment.
• Experience in managing performance and development of a team.
• Experience in budgetary control and health and safety compliance.

Responsabilités

• Inspirational leadership – lead by example and drive outstanding customer service.
• Brand ambassador – live Hobbycraft values and engage the team.
• Keyholder – open/close store, daily run and alarm response as needed.
• Planner – schedule, holiday planning and store operational planning.
• KPIs – focus on sales, drive KPI performance and coach others.
• Recruitment and Succession – own recruitment lifecycle and staff development.
• Relationship builder – treat everyone with dignity and respect per Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging policy.
• Merchandiser – manage stock, merchandising, deliveries and manual handling.
• Policy Expert – ensure compliance with policies and health & safety for audits.
• Communicator – deliver clear, concise communications to the team.
• Visible – stay on the shop floor, complete admin efficiently.
• Protector – manage cash controls, back-of-house access, security and data compliance.
• Performance Management – coach the team and conduct meetings; support in other stores if needed.
