Hobbycraft in Crawley are seeking a Team Leader to support the Store Manager in daily operations and to run the store in the manager’s absence. You will deliver a customer-focused experience to encourage repeat visits and drive incremental sales, exemplifying Hobbycraft values and leading by example on the shop floor.

The role emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and the ability to coach colleagues, manage stock and plan daily trade, while maintaining safety and compliance across all Store processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to drive outstanding customer service and commercial awareness.
• Act as Brand ambassador and embrace change positively.
• Ensure the store is set for a successful day of trade.
• Coordinate deliveries and ensure safe, inclusive environment.
• Coordinate Click and Collect processes.
• Comply with Company policies and health and safety regulations.
• Deliver clear communications of daily targets and expectations.
• Host in-store workshops.
• Support Store Manager in day-to-day management and be a keyholder.
• Assist with recruitment, induction and training of new colleagues.
• Provide coaching and support to colleagues.
