The Role...

The role of Store Manager within Wickes is essential, offering high potential and opportunities for growth. You should already be a strong leader with a proven track record of motivating your team. Managing your workload effectively and prioritizing safety are key. You must be customer-centric, ensuring each customer has a great shopping experience and maintaining a positive, winning mindset. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Organising and working with your team to achieve targets;
2. Motivating colleagues and serving customers by helping them find the right products;
3. Ensuring promotions are current and stock levels are adequate.

Regular travel is involved; therefore, the successful candidate must have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

This is a permanent, full-time position, 39 hours per week.

About you...

We seek an experienced store manager from a retail background. A positive, can-do attitude is essential. You should understand the financial aspects of retail, including KPI management and target-driven work. Additionally, you should have experience recruiting and developing team members, recognizing potential and nurturing talent.
