Job summary

Pets at Home is seeking a Store Manager for the Greater Manchester area to run a busy pet care centre with a focus on driving sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will report to the Area Manager, manage daily operations, lead a team, and ensure health and safety compliance. The role includes training opportunities and a strong emphasis on customer care and pet welfare.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of management experience in a retail environment.
• Passion for retail with a proven track record of delivering results.
• Flexibility to work a 7-day shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to engage and motivate your team.
• Willingness to learn and participate in required training (customer service, health and safety, pet care).

Responsibilities

What’s the role?

As a growing organisation with over 450 stores nationwide we are always on the look out for local talent interested in working with us. In particular we are looking for Store Managers in the Greater Manchester area.

You will be reporting directly to the Area Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the daily running of your pet care centre, driving sales and performance while ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

• Are passionate about learning and committed to training covering areas such as customer service, health and safety, and pet care
