Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers in Cirencester is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a team, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You’ll own store operations, budgets, and community relationships while modelling our values.

The role requires 40 hours per week across 5 days, with a focus on delivering strong customer service and commercial growth in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ proven management experience within a comparable retail role.
• Proven track record of delivering sales targets and managing budgets.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, including sales, stock control, and customer service.
• Skilled in problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
• Strong commercial awareness, including analysing sales trends and identifying growth opportunities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead, motivate, and engage colleagues.
• Flexible and adaptable, with a commitment to continuous improvement and team development.
• A natural leader with a customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Driving store performance by achieving KPIs and engaging your team in delivering results.
• Creating and implementing store strategies to ensure high standards of service and satisfaction.
• Developing and delivering the store business plan with a focus on commercial awareness and growth.
• Managing stock control, promotions, seasonal events, and merchandising to maximise sales.
• Recruiting, onboarding, and developing team members who embody our values.
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety policies and company procedures.
• Managing budgets, financial controls, and reporting accurately and efficiently.
