Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers in Driffield is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our team, drive sales, and deliver outstanding customer experiences. You’ll own store operations, budgets, and staff development in a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll recruit, coach, set performance targets, analyse trends, and build community relationships to grow the business while upholding our values and standards.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ proven management experience within a comparable retail role.
• Proven track record of delivering sales targets and managing budgets.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, including sales, stock control, and customer service.
• Skilled in problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
• Strong commercial awareness, including analysing sales trends and identifying growth opportunities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead, motivate, and engage colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Driving store performance by achieving KPIs and engaging your team in delivering results.
• Creating and implementing store strategies to ensure high standards of service and satisfaction.
• Developing and delivering the store business plan with a focus on commercial awareness and growth.
• Managing stock control, promotions, seasonal events, and merchandising to maximise sales.
• Recruiting, onboarding, and developing team members who embody our values.
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety policies and company procedures.
• Managing budgets, financial controls, and reporting accurately and efficiently.
