Job summary

Clarks, a historic UK footwear brand, seeks a hands-on Store Management support leader based in Somerset. You will back the Store Manager, guide the sales team, and uphold premier customer service and store standards. This role requires strong coaching, communication, and commercial judgment to sustain sales and brand experience.

You will be expected to inspire the team, manage tasks efficiently, and maintain a positive shopping environment, both for customers and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail sales team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate selling behaviours and be a role model to deliver personal KPIs.
• Support the Store Manager to engage, coach and develop the team to hit targets.
• Oversee the sales floor with strong Floor Control to create a great shopping environment.
• Review CSAT insights and drive actions to improve customer experience and operations.
• Support store operations and Visual Merchandising to meet retail standards.
• Upskill in product knowledge and educate the team to drive sales.
• Organise tasks to meet business needs while protecting sales and service.
• Provide regular feedback to motivate and improve performance.
• Assist in people issues to avoid escalation and maintain smooth operations.
