Job summary

Samsonite seeks an Assistant Store Manager for a 40-hour week at our Street, Somerset store. You will support the Store Manager to drive sales, lead a team, and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 15kg.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Teams.
• Experience in retail, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Sales-oriented with a customer-first mindset.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and drive sales using company selling standards.
• Monitor store KPIs and report insights to improve performance.
• Assist in stock management, pricing accuracy, and shrinkage control.
• Support recruitment, training, and development of store staff; assist in scheduling.
• Follow company policies in cash handling, opening/closing, and store administration.
• Maintain visual merchandising per Samsonite standards and support promotions.
• Communicate clearly with team and management; represent the brand professionally.
