Job summary

POP MART UK CORPORATION LTD in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Store Supervisor to lead daily retail operations at our new pop-up location and to ensure the highest standard of customer service for designer collectibles.

You will train and supervise the sales team, manage stock and visual merchandising, work closely with the Store Manager, and coordinate with merchandising and management to meet sales targets. This is a fixed-term, in-person role requiring flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Act as the store-in-charge, overseeing all aspects of store operations
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints
• Train and supervise the sales team, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop strategies for achieving sales targets
• Closely monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the merchandising team and management for replenishment
• Control stock discrepancy by monitoring inventory levels and preventing shoplifting
• Own visual merchandising. Ensure the store tidiness and cleanliness are maintained at the highest level
• Manage the cashier point’s daily opening and closing procedures
• Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates
• Assist in recruitment, evaluation of potential candidates’ performance, and training new team members
• Perform administrative tasks such as rota scheduling and sales reporting
• Be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
