Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking an experienced Food/Store Manager in the Enfield area to lead day-to-day operations with a strong customer focus. You will coach teams, uphold high standards, and drive service excellence across the food hall while ensuring compliance and smooth daily activity.

The role requires proven leadership in a busy retail environment, a track record of delivering KPIs, and the ability to manage performance, scheduling and colleague development.

Qualifications

• Proven line management in a fast-paced retail/operational setting.
• Delivers excellent customer service and coaches teams.
• Tracks KPIs and stock availability to drive performance.
• Manages performance, absence and employee relations with fairness.
• Experience running store operations with oversight of colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Role modelling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the whole food hall.
• Manage compliance to processes whilst delivering great shopkeeping and service.
• Ensure customers get the food they want to be first choice for food.
• People management, performance and scheduling, disciplinary actions where needed.
• Occasionally take overall responsibility for running the store, guiding colleagues.
