Job summary

Sainsbury's in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a busy food hall operation. You will model high standards, coach teams, and ensure excellent customer service while delivering key KPIs.

You’ll be responsible for people management, scheduling and compliance, with the autonomy to run the store and support colleagues to meet customer needs. A track record in fast-paced retail is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering exceptional customer experiences and coaching others to raise the bar.
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced, customer-facing environments such as retail, food service or hospitality.
• Ability to deliver against a wide range of KPIs including sales, stock availability and customer satisfaction.
• Experience handling performance management, attendance, and employee relations fairly and effectively.
• Strong leadership to run store operations and provide direction in the absence of senior management.

Responsibilities

• Role modelling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the whole food hall.
• Managing compliance to processes while delivering great shop keeping and customer service.
• Ensure every customer gets the food they want when they shop with us to be the first choice for food.
• People management including performance, capability, disciplinaries, scheduling and pay.
• Occasionally assume overall responsibility for running the store and guiding colleagues to deliver for customers.
