IKEA Group UK is seeking a Unit Facilities Manager to lead the facilities team at our Sheffield store, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an excellent customer and co-worker experience.

Qualifications

• Curiosity on all things Facilities Management and knowledge to effectively deliver, organize and follow up on ‘Hard’ and ‘Soft’ Facilities management services.
• Promotes sustainability and how it impacts energy consumption, emissions, waste management and chemical products.
• Leads people through shifting, multifaceted situations and coordinates with stakeholders; manages contracts and supplier relationships and work order processes for maintenance tasks.
• Background in retail Facilities Management with end-to-end budget oversight and supplier relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead FM team to optimise value and efficiency of store facilities in a sustainable way.
• Implement Ingka Facility Management within the store through the Unit FM team.
• Oversee safety, compliance, maintenance and improvements to ensure a safe and operational environment for business, colleagues, customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure service providers and external partners understand FM frameworks, guidelines and initiatives.
• Manage asset management, long-term planning, budget estimation, implementation, follow-up, forecasting and reporting in FM scope.
• Evaluate and implement supplier contracts at store level to improve costs, equipment and quality.
• Provide leadership to empower co‑workers and develop skills for succession.
