Senior Store Designer for the Global Real Estate team
THE ROLE:
To ensure management of new and existing store projects. Managing clients' expectations through implementation of a project plan and providing leadership to contractors and architects, driving store projects to completion with the support of the Senior Development Project Manager.
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Overseeing the execution of new and existing store development projects, ensuring they are completed within scheduled timelines, budget constraints, and meet the highest quality standards.
- Collaborating effectively with a team of project managers, fostering an environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and high performance.
- Liaising seamlessly with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure goal alignment and smooth project execution.
- Creating and implementing comprehensive project plans detailing scope, objectives, deliverables, resources, budget, and timelines.
- Proactively identifying potential risks and developing strategic contingency plans to mitigate them.
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations across all construction projects for a safe working environment.
- Reviewing project statuses regularly, including budget, timelines, and progress, and reporting to senior management for transparency and decision-making.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes, optimize resources, and increase efficiency and profitability.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Who you are :
- Exceptional team collaboration skills, with experience in high-performing teams.
- Strong financial acumen, able to manage budgets and understand financial implications of decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder and client liaison.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
- Deep understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and quality standards in construction.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field; master's degree or certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction project management, with a track record of managing large-scale projects.
- Experience in retail construction and store development is highly desirable.
