Job summary

GO Outdoors LTD in Southampton is seeking a Store Manager to lead a high performing team and deliver exceptional customer service. You will manage daily operations, ensure safety/compliance, and drive financial performance in line with company targets.

You will develop colleagues through training programs, participate in hiring and onboarding, and coach teams to improve KPIs. A passion for retail and a minimum of two years in management are required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years management experience in retail or similar retail format.
• Excellent coaching, mentoring and team-building abilities.
• Clear communication with customers and colleagues, both verbal and written.
• Strong planning to improve store performance and standards.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager, lead and motivate a high performing team.
• Create a culture of exceptional customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Develop store teams through internal development to support talent and career pathways.
• Maintain a safe, compliant operating environment for colleagues and customers.
• Deliver financial results in line with company targets and assist in other retail management duties.
• Be the point of contact in the manager's absence and support hiring, onboarding and training.
