Job summary

ME+EM is seeking a Stockroom Controller at our London Kings Road location. The role focuses on efficient deliveries, recalls, stock counts and maintaining an organised, safe stockroom while supporting back-office admin tasks.

You will work independently, prioritise merchandise actions and ensure accurate labelling and storage, collaborating with Compliance and Training teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential.
• Attention to detail and ability to work at pace.
• Passion for retail, compliance and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Off floor operational tasks.
• Expert in stock and till processes.
• Prioritising merch actions when necessary.
• Ensure deliveries are unpacked, checked, labelled and placed correctly in the stockroom.
• Ensure existing products are accurately labelled and placed correctly in the stockroom.
• Ensure the stockroom meets Health & Safety compliance.
• Stock is safely stored and ladders, stools etc. are disposed of.
• Manage the stock inventory and stock movement process.
• Work alongside the Compliance and Training Coordinator.
• Embrace change and support the rollout of new systems.
• Prepare and steam daily replenishment.
• Have a good understanding of the product range and style names.
• Attend all stock takes.
• Brand representative at all times.
• Key contributor to store KPIs

Job Title: Stockroom Controller

Reporting to: Store Manager

Location: ME+EM, Kings Road, London

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 Hours Per Week

About the role

The Stock Room Controller ensures the effective completion of deliveries, recalls, stock counts and stock takes. You are responsible for ensuring the stockroom environment is well organised, safe and easy to navigate. You are confident in working independently and support all back office admin duties.

• Manage the stock inventory and stock movement process
• Work alongside the Compliance and Training Coordinator
• Embrace change and support the role out of new systems
• Prepare and steam daily replenishment
• Have a good understanding of the product range and style names
• Attend all stock takes
• Strong communication skills
• Brand representative at all times
• Key contributor to store KPIs
