Job summary

schuh in Leicester is seeking a Sales Assistant to deliver excellent customer service and share in-depth product knowledge. You will greet customers, drive KPI performance and handle payments, orders and reservations. The role covers stock handling, merchandising, and maintaining high standards in-store and back areas.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required, but customer service or retail experience is preferable.
• Willingness to work weekdays and weekends to cover store hours.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Assistant to join our store in Leicester.

Candidates should be available both weekdays and weekends.

Hourly rates will match or exceed the national minimum wage for your age.

About what you’ll be doing

• Delivering the highest level of customer service possible, greeting and approaching customers and providing in depth product knowledge
• Striving to meet KPIs and personal targets
• Processing payments, customer orders and reservations
• Stock management and shop floor merchandising
• Maintaining high standards both on shop floor and in back areas
• Assisting with opening/shutdown procedures

Previous experience is not essential, however customer service and/or retail experience would be preferable. Full training will be given for the role.
