Job summary

Wessex Procurement Limited (WPL) invites applications for a permanent Stock Management Officer role based at Basingstoke, with possible duties at Winchester. You will join a dynamic team delivering essential procurement and materials management services across NHS Trusts in Hampshire.

You will set up and maintain stock profiles, including non-stock items, analyse reports to drive standardisation and rationalisation, and promote improvements across the supply chain. NHS pension and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Understanding Materials Management principles and processes including stock control and invoicing.
• Experience with Windows applications including Word and Excel.
• Good standard of education including Mathematics and English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain stock profiles, including high value non-stock items.
• Produce reports and analyse data to support standardisation and rationalisation initiatives.
• Act as an ambassador to promote efficient supply chain solutions within the Trusts.
