Job summary

NHS Professionals is seeking a Material Management Assistant to support stock replenishment across wards and departments within Hampshire & Isle of Wight NHS Trust. You will assist in the Matman rollout, prepare data for process implementation and contribute to efficient, accurate material management.

Key tasks include using Excel for data outputs, ordering stock, maintaining catalogues, and coordinating with the Procurement Team to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience producing accurate outputs with attention to detail.
• Ability to plan and organise own work.
• Capable of safe manual handling where required.
• Experience communicating with colleagues via email/phone/face to face.
• Proficient in Excel and data processing.

Responsibilities

• Manipulating and analysing datasets in Excel to support the Matman project.
• Reorder stock using Matman system; replenish to CIC with flexible usage needs.
• Order PPE for wards/departments.
• Maintain electronic catalogues in GHX and NHS Supply Chain and liaise with procurement.
• Check EDC configuration for departments and adjust for obsolete stock.
• Support site visits and issue handling for deliveries and receipts.
