Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Stores Operative to join the Fareham site within Saab Seaeye operations. You will receive goods, process inbound stock, and manage picking and packing for customer orders in line with the MRP schedule.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to lift/move stock, and compliance with safety guidelines. You will help maintain stock accuracy, organise stores, and support waste and yard maintenance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Previous Warehouse or Stores experience.
• Experience working at height is required.
• Experience with ERP Systems.
• Forklifts experience desirable.
• Enthusiastic and hardworking.
• Willing to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods and process inbound stock.
• Pick work orders and sales orders per the MRP schedule.
• Pack and ship orders to customers.
• Organise and retrieve stock; ensure high stock accuracy.
• Maintain stores area, equipment, and vehicles; report faults.
• Follow manual handling guidelines and safety procedures.
• Keep yard tidy and stock labelled/containers.
