Job summary

Interaction Recruitment PLC in Aylesbury is seeking a Workflow & Stock Inventory Controller to join a busy distribution operation. You will help keep warehouse operations running smoothly, ensure orders are accurate, and maintain stock levels so the team always has work ready.

The role requires experience in stock control or warehouse operations, strong attention to detail and good IT skills (Excel and ERP systems).

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritise customer orders to maintain warehouse workflow.
• Investigate stock shortages and find solutions to keep orders moving.
• Check outgoing orders to ensure correct products and quantities.
• Carry out regular stock counts and audits.
• Investigate stock discrepancies, damages and losses; produce reports as required.
• Work closely with warehouse and management teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Identify and correct errors while minimising disruption to daily operations.

Location: Aylesbury

Salary: £30,500 per year + potential £2,000 annual bonus

Shift: Sunday to Thursday

Hours: 45 hours per week

Contract: Permanent, full-time

We’re recruiting a Workflow & Stock Inventory Controller to join a busy distribution operation in Aylesbury. You’ll play a key role in keeping warehouse operations running smoothly, ensuring orders are accurate, stock levels are correct and the team always has work ready to go.

What will you be doing?

• Planning and prioritising customer orders to maintain a smooth warehouse workflow.

• Investigating stock shortages and finding solutions to keep orders moving.

• Checking outgoing orders to ensure the correct products and quantities have been picked.

• Carrying out regular stock counts and supporting stock audits.

• Investigating stock discrepancies, damages and losses, producing reports where required.

• Working closely with warehouse and management teams to resolve issues quickly.

• Identifying and correcting errors while minimising disruption to daily operations.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in stock control, inventory or warehouse operations.

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

• Good IT skills, ideally including Excel and warehouse management or ERP systems.

• £30,500 annual salary

• Potential discretionary annual bonus of up to £2,000, subject to performance against agreed KPIs.

• Permanent employment with a Sunday-to-Thursday working pattern.
