Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Agency is seeking a Stock Controller in Ferndown to take charge of stock accuracy in a growing fulfilment operation. The role offers a clear path to a permanent position with attractive perks and development opportunities.

You will maintain stock accuracy, investigate variances, conduct counts and audits, and generate management reports. A Counterbalance and Reach forklift licence, plus strong Excel skills and WMS experience, are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven stock control or inventory experience within a fulfilment, 3PL or warehouse environment.
• Counterbalance and Reach forklift licence.
• Confident use of a Warehouse Management System, ideally Mintsoft.
• A track record of investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.
• Strong spreadsheet and Excel skills, with experience producing stock reports.
• Reliable, organised approach with ownership over your area.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining stock accuracy across the fulfilment centre and pallet storage, for both in-house and 3PL client stock.
• Investigating and resolving stock variances, finding the root cause and escalating where needed.
• Planning and running stock counts, cycle counts and audits.
• Producing regular reports on accuracy, stock movement, losses and trends for management and account managers.
• Keeping WMS records accurate and optimising storage locations to make the best use of space.
• Operating forklift trucks to move, locate and replenish stock, and guiding Stock Control Assistants on best practice.

Stock Controller | £13.06 per hour | Ferndown

Take control of stock accuracy as a Stock Controller in Ferndown, earning up to £13.06 per hour with a clear path to a permanent role.Every count, audit and report you produce will be trusted by managers and clients alike.
