WHSmith Europe is seeking a Merchandiser to optimise stock flow to stores, analyse sales profiles, and identify opportunities to maximise availability and profit. You will collaborate with Merchandising managers, buyers, and logistics to forecast demand and maintain KPI targets, ensuring timely promotions and range changes.

The role requires strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Manage weekly/daily stock demand for store allocation.
• Review forecast profiles and adjust for seasonality and promotions.
• Conduct root cause analyses for low availability.
• Communicate delivery performance with stakeholders.
• Liaise with distribution centre and logistics teams.
• Create and review purchase orders.
• Forecast with suppliers and resolve issues.
• Coordinate range changes with buyers and operations.
• Generate reports to optimise sales and reduce stock issues.
• Forecast by week/month/season and maintain target stock levels.
