Job summary

Pod Talent is seeking a Merchandiser for our Hertfordshire team. You will own forecasting and stock flow, ensuring availability to support growth, while using data-led insights to influence buying decisions and maximise commercial performance.

The role requires 3+ years in merchandising within fast-paced retail, with strong Excel and analytical skills. Hybrid working: 2 days in the office, with collaboration across Buying, Design and Finance to shape ranges and margins.

Qualifications

• 3+ years merchandising experience in retail.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-SKU environments.
• Strong WSSI, forecasting and stock planning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own stock management across high-SKU categories to drive availability and sell-through.
• Manage WSSI and trade plans, reviewing performance against sales, intake and margin targets.
• Produce and regularly update forecasts based on trading performance and demand trends.
• Analyse key trading KPIs to identify risks, opportunities and actions to improve performance.
• Collaborate with Buying, Design, Supply Chain, Operations and Finance on stock flow and budgets.
