Job summary
WHSmith Travel is seeking a Merchandiser to lead the range review process and stock management across our stores in London and surrounding areas. You will work cross-functionally to deliver opportunities while maintaining stock within open-to-buy limits.
The role emphasizes analytical thinking, negotiation, and strong business acumen to forecast demand, manage supplier input and optimise product availability. Hybrid working is available with a mix of home and office days.
Qualifications
- Experience with range planning and stock management in a retail environment.
- Strong numerical, analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Negotiation skills with resilience and relationship management across teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage the range review process and critical path end-to-end.
- Conduct range planning and analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
- Oversee stock intake, quality, recalls and Open to Buy controls.
- Report on stock turnover, intake to sales and returns.
