Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, currently seeks a Stock Controller at Markham Vale to maintain stock integrity in a fast-paced warehouse. You will ensure accurate receipt and despatch, manage the pallet area, and support investigations into stock discrepancies.

The role requires prior stock control experience, keen attention to detail, and strong IT skills. 4 on, 4 off days from 6am to 6pm, with a competitive benefits package including leave and pension.

Qualifications

• Previous stock control experience.
• High level of detail.
• Ability to manage own time to hit daily targets.
• Team player but able to work on own initiative.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong investigative and problem-solving abilities.
• PC literate with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience of Autostore WMS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with management and staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads.
• Manage the problem pallet area with Receipt and Despatch Team.
• Amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity and complete checks.
• Hold and Release process management.
• Provide stock traceability information as required (e.g., recalls).
• Investigate and report short shipments accurately.
• Complete daily/weekly reports.
• Handle multi-client queries and assist Stock Management with investigations.
