Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, operates a busy distribution site in Markham Vale. A Warehouse Shift Supervisor is needed to support the Shift Manager in daily operations, ensure service and cost targets are met, and uphold health and safety standards. Working hours are 4 on 4 off days from 06:00 to 18:00.

You will supervise staff, coordinate warehouse activities, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining high customer satisfaction and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and develop warehouse staff.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processes.
• Ability to plan, schedule and supervise activities.
• Effective communication with shifts and controllers.
• Knowledge of on-site systems and software usage.

Responsibilities

• Support Shift Manager in daily warehouse operations.
• Lead and supervise warehouse staff to meet targets.
• Investigate incidents and ensure safety compliance.
• Schedule activities and monitor performance against plans.
• Communicate with Operations Controllers to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain records of team performance and training needs.
• Support training and development of staff and provide coaching.
