Job summary

Kea HR & Recruitment in Hull is seeking an experienced Stock Controller to join our client’s team. You will maintain accurate stock records, perform regular cycle counts and investigate discrepancies to ensure numbers add up.

Based at Hull Head Office, you will work Monday to Friday 7.00am-4.00pm with one Saturday in three, 8.00am-12.00pm, and be responsible for stock checks, adjustments, and timely recording in stock-control systems.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stock control and conducting stock counts.
• Experience investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.
• Good numerical skills and high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage and carry out regular cycle counts.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and identify causes.
• Monitor stock accuracy and highlight recurring issues.
• Record stock adjustments and corrections accurately.
• Support annual stock count planning and reconciliation.
• Check orders and ensure correct goods and quantities dispatched.
• Maintain stock-control system data and collaborate with other teams.
