You’ll monitor goods in and out, carry out stock checks and investigate discrepancies to minimise losses and maintain organised stock.

• Experience in stock control within a builders’ merchant or similar high-value stock environment.
• Proven ability to manage high-value stock accurately and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Aufgaben

• Check incoming and outgoing stock against delivery documentation.
• Ensure stock is correctly received, recorded and put away.
• Carry out regular stock checks and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate stock records on company systems.
• Monitor stock levels and liaise with Branch Manager and Buyer regarding ordering.
• Manage returned, damaged and special-order stock.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Manager to minimise damages and improve stock processes.
• Liaise with warehouse, transport and sales teams to resolve stock issues.
• Support day-to-day branch operations and uphold Health & Safety standards.
