Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is assisting a growing business in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire, to recruit a Stock Controller. The role focuses on stock accuracy, movements and continuous improvement within a fast-paced team.

We seek at least 2 years in stock management, sharp attention to detail, solid IT/ERP skills, and a calm, professional approach with strong communication. This is a full-time, permanent position in a busy operation.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in stock management.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Calm and professional under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident telephone manner.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team.
• Good IT and ERP system skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular stock reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain accurate stock records within the ERP system
• Process stock movements and transfers between locations
• Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages
• Work closely with planning and operational teams to resolve stock issues
• Support improvements to stock control and reprocessing procedures
• Liaise with internal teams and external logistics/operational partners
• Maintain an organised workflow and prioritise tasks effectively
• Respond to incoming calls and emails professionally
• Support the wider team in meeting customer service and operational targets
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across stock processes
