Job summary

Randstad Delivery is seeking an Inventory Associate in the Horsham area. Based at Langhurst Wood Road, Langhurst Wood Road, the role focuses on inventory control, order fulfilment, and GMP-compliant packaging tasks.

The position is initially 6 months, with a 37.5-hour week, and shifts running 14:00–22:15. The ideal candidate will have GCSE English and Maths, strong IT skills, and good numerical and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
• Good IT literacy and basic software skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and numerical abilities.
• Ability to work in ambient, cold-chain, and -20°C environments.
• Experience with GMP/cGMP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack client orders to meet targets.
• Receive deliveries from couriers into correct storage locations and inventory system.
• Follow production orders for client packaging, setup and cleanup of rooms/equipment.
• Complete GMP paperwork accurately and on time.
• Conduct inventories, cycle counts, and waste disposals.
• Follow SOPs and maintain compliance with safety and quality regulations.
• Maintain housekeeping and promote a safe environment.
• Support Continuous Improvement through the Lean process.

Are you experienced in managing Inventories? Do you consider yourself to be attentive to detail, flexible, and an asset to a busy team? Are you based in or around Horsham? We have an initially temporary role available within the operational function of a large Pharmaceutical, Biomedical and . This role is ideal for someone with inventory and order fulfilment skills and is IT literate, adaptable, and a strong communicator.

• Role: Inventory Associate
• Location: Langhurst Wood Road, Horsham, RH12 4QD
• Rate: £16.10ph (£13.20ph basic+22% shift allowance)
• Contract length: 6 months initially
• Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 22:15 (37.5 hours per week)
• Start: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing client orders to fulfil business targets
• Receiving deliveries from couriers into correct storage locations and inventory software
• Following Production Orders to complete client packaging requirements, including set up and cleaning down of rooms and equipment
• Completing GMP paperwork with accuracy, meeting vital timelines
• Completing inventories, cycle counts, and waste disposals
• Following Standard Operating Procedures and maintaining compliance with cGMP, safety, and quality regulations
• Maintaining good housekeeping and promoting a safe working environment
• Supporting Continuous Improvement through the PPI Lean Process

Essential requirements:

• English & Mathematics GCSE (or equivalent experience/qualification)
• Good IT literacy
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and numerical skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work in ambient, cold-chain, and -20C environments as required

Desirable requirements:

• Experience working in a GxP environment
• Experience working with biological and/or pharmaceutical materials
