Job summary

Randstad Delivery is seeking an Operations Associate to join the on-site team in Horsham, working 14:00–22:15, 37.5 hours/week, for an initial 6-month contract. Role focuses on inbound/outbound activity, order fulfilment and GMP-compliant processes in a pharmaceutical setting.

Salary is paid at £16.10 per hour with a £13.20 base plus 22% shift allowance. Based at Langhurst Wood Road, Horsham, RH12 4QD, this role requires IT literacy, strong numeracy and the ability to work in ambient,

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics, operations or production.
• Driving licence and access to own vehicle (due to shift times).
• Strong attention to detail with numerical data.
• Experience with SOPs.
• Able to work in ambient, refrigerated and frozen environments (-20°C).
• Willingness to handle packaging and labelling, possibly hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Deliver for internal and external customers.
• Pick and pack client orders to meet targets.
• Receive deliveries into correct storage locations and inventory software.
• Follow Production Orders to complete packaging and set up rooms/equipment.
• Complete GMP paperwork accurately within timelines.
• Conduct inventories, cycle counts and waste disposals.
• Follow SOPs and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Maintain good housekeeping and promote a safe working environment.
• Support Continuous Improvement through the PPI Lean Process.

We have an initially temporary role available within the operational function of a large Pharmaceutical, Biomedical and . This role is ideal for someone with inventory and order fulfilment skills and is IT literate, adaptable, and a strong communicator.

• Role: Operations Associate
• Location: on site at Langhurst Wood Road, Horsham, RH12 4QD
• Rate: £16.10ph (£13.20ph basic+22% shift allowance)
• Contract length: 6 months initially
• Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 22:15 (37.5 hours per week)
• Start: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Focusing on delivery for internal and external customers
• Picking and packing client orders to fulfil business targets
• Receiving deliveries from couriers into correct storage locations and inventory software
• Following Production Orders to complete client packaging requirements, including set up and cleaning down of rooms and equipment
• Completing GMP paperwork with accuracy, meeting vital timelines
• Completing inventories, cycle counts, and waste disposals
• Following Standard Operating Procedures and maintaining compliance with cGMP, safety, and quality regulations
• Maintaining good housekeeping and promoting a safe working environment
• Supporting Continuous Improvement through the PPI Lean Process

Essential requirements:

• Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, operations or production environment
• Driving licence and access to own vehicle (due to the shift times)
• Strong attention to detail, especially with numerical data
• Previous experience working with SOP’s
• Comfortable working in an ambient, refrigerated and frozen environment (-20°C)
• Confidence conducting manual handling, carrying out packaging and labelling duties and potentially working with hazardous materials (e.g Dry Ice, liquid nitrogen)
• Good level of IT literacy
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and numerical skills
